Does KitMyAgent run the AI?
No. KitMyAgent sells kits: written instructions, skills, safety rules and setup guides as plain files. You add them to the AI app you already use (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others), under that provider's own terms. We never run an AI model, see your chats or connect to your accounts.
Which AI platforms does it work with?
ChatGPT, Claude (including Cowork and the new Claude Duet), Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes, Grok Bot and Gemini. Every kit includes ready-made files and a step-by-step install guide for each one. Meta Muse is coming soon.
Does it work with Claude Duet?
Yes. Claude Duet runs on your Claude account and uses the skills you've uploaded, so every Claude kit includes your agent as a skill (its character, job and rules) as well as its working skills. Upload them once and your agent is there in Duet. Duet is a research preview for US Pro and Max accounts; the install guide has the steps.
Do I need to code?
No. For ChatGPT, Claude and Grok you copy and paste one file, and for Gemini you upload two small files. For OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code and Codex you copy a folder, and the guide shows you exactly where.
What happened to custom GPTs?
OpenAI is retiring custom GPTs on 11 December 2026. Our ChatGPT kits install as a ChatGPT Project plus Skills, which is the replacement, so you are covered.
Can I edit my agent after downloading?
Yes. It's plain text you own. Change anything you like, or come back to the creator: your agents are saved in My agents and re-downloading is free.
Is my agent safe to use?
Every kit ships with safety rules switched on: it drafts instead of sending, asks before spending, never invents facts, keeps data private and hands over to you when it's unsure. You can see and change every rule.
How do downloads work?
A basic agent kit or a prompt pack costs 1 download. Advanced agents, which come with a full set of extra skills, cost 3 downloads. Your first basic agent is free when you sign in with your email. After that, packs start at $5 for 5 downloads. Downloads never expire.
Does KitMyAgent connect to my email or accounts?
No. Your kit explains how to connect tools on your own platform, but KitMyAgent itself never connects to your accounts or sees your data.
Can I use the agents for my business?
Yes. Agents you download are yours to use in your own business. You may not resell the kits themselves.
Are the avatars real people?
Never. Avatars are always fictional characters. We block real people, celebrities and existing copyrighted characters.
Do I need a paid AI plan?
Most kits work on free plans (ChatGPT Projects, Gemini skills, Claude Projects). Some features, such as skills, need a paid plan on that platform.
