How the AI agent builder works

  1. Look. Name your agent and pick its face: 20 characters in 17 art styles. Stuck for a name? Try the agent name generator.
  2. Job. Choose from 45 jobs, from receptionist and invoice chaser to code reviewer and dungeon master. Each one comes with its duties already written.
  3. Personality. Slide between formal and casual, brief and detailed, cautious and bold. Add up to three of 20 trait cards and pick a language.
  4. Rules and tools. Switch on safety rules such as “draft, never send” and “ask before spending” (13 to choose from), and list the tools it may use.
  5. Platform. Pick where it will live, or get all 8 platforms in one kit.

What is an AI agent builder?

A tool that turns your choices (what the agent does, how it talks and what it must never do) into the instructions an AI platform needs. This one writes the agent file, the platform setup files and the skills for you, so you don’t have to write prompts.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You click through five steps and download a kit. Installing it means pasting text or uploading a file in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another platform, and every kit has a step-by-step guide for that.

Is the AI agent builder free?

Building and previewing are free, and your first agent is free to download. After that a basic agent costs 1 download ($1) and an advanced agent 3 downloads. Downloading an agent you already own again is always free.

Which AI platforms does it work with?

ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes, Grok Bot, Gemini. One kit includes the files for all of them, so you can switch later without rebuilding.

Does KitMyAgent connect to my email or accounts?

No. The kit tells your agent how to use the tools you connect on your own platform, but KitMyAgent never connects to your accounts or sees your data.

Can I change the agent after I download it?

Yes. Everything is plain text you own. Edit it in any text editor, or come back to the builder, change your choices and download again.
